A legal awareness session was conducted in the department on July 9, 2024 to educate students about their legal rights and responsibilities. The session aimed to empower students with the knowledge necessary to navigate legal issues they might encounter in their personal and professional lives. First UG students had an enlightening and empowering session on laws which has been updated recently. The session was handled by Adv. Muhammad Ibrahim Abdul is a lawyer in Kerala High Court who done his graduation from SH College and did his law education at Law College Ernakulam. BCA second year student Krishna Priya deliver the welcome address. Dr. Kala MS, Dean of the self-financing department deliver the felicitations. The class was started by Adv. Muhammad by explaining about a person’s attention span in a very humorous way made us know about women-centric provisions. The session concluded with a call for increased awareness and proactive measures in dealing with cyber threats. He emphasized the importance of staying informed about legal obligations and encouraged attendees to continue exploring the dynamic field of cyber law. He has explained all the aspects of cyber-related crimes and its procedure. The legal awareness session was a successful initiative in educating students about their legal rights and responsibilities. The positive feedback and active participation indicate a strong interest in legal education among students. Future sessions should be planned to continue this important aspect of student development.
