Bharatanatyam Course At St Teresa’s College

Bharatanatyam is an extremely codified and schematized Asian Indian style of classical dance. That is loved and adored by numerous people who are passionate lovers of the art. The sole aim of this artform is to present a theme or feeling and to send an experience of it to the audience. The movements of Bharatanatyam are unique.

Traditionally, Bharatanatyam has been a solo dance that was performed exclusively by girls, and it expressed South Indian spiritual themes and religious ideas. Bharatanatyam is one of the most cherished and most popular classical Indian dance forms, not only within the country but also outside it. It is considered the epitome of Indian cultural expression.
