Traditionally, Bharatanatyam has been a solo dance that was performed exclusively by women and it expressed South Indian religious themes and spiritual ideas.

Language Papers

1. Compulsory Ist Language – English Consists of two papers in the first year and a 3rd paper during the 2nd year University Exams.

2. Elective Language Paper – The candidate is given the choice among three languages (French, Hindi, Malayalam) and has to choose one for study. The exams are conducted for I paper in the first year and for 2 papers in the second year.
