Today we can see various styles of Mohiniyattam. There is no known comprehensive study of the music and rhythm used in each style. As we know from the beginning, Mohinyattam is performed in the accompaniment of Sopana Music and later it is dominated by Carnatic Classical music. This Study is more relevant in contemporary area of Mohiniyattam performance. A study of this kind is very useful for Mohinyattam Artistes and the Practioners to become more authentic towards their Art form.
