Rural Entrepreneurship Development Cell (RED Cell)
The Rural Entrepreneurship Development Cell (RED Cell) of St. Teresa’s College is a student-led initiative dedicated to foster entrepreneurial skills and rural commitment among students. It aims to encourage students to develop entrepreneurial skills, mindset and passion for innovation. It provides a deep understanding of rural challenges and opportunities and develop solutions that address these needs and engage students in experiential learning, projects and activities that promote rural entrepreneurship and community development.
Action Plan:
1)Entrepreneurship quiz to spread awareness about entrepreneurship
2) Poster making competition to find solutions to the problems faced by the entrepreneurs
3) Essay writings on start up ideas
4) Presentation on successful entrepreneurs to motivate student entrepreneurs
5) Visit to an enterprise
6) To organise entrepreneurship awareness campaigns
7) Business plan competitions
8) Industry- Academia Collaboration
