Foundation Preparation Pathway Programme

The Foundation Preparation Pathway Programme (FPP) offered by UP Education is designed to fast-track ambitious international students to an Accelerated Foundation Programme in New Zealand. While the foundation programme offered by UP Education in New Zealand is usually completed over 18 months, high performers on the off-shore FPP programme are entitled to complete the foundation programme in accelerated mode (6 months), thus making entry into the university both quicker and easier while giving them a head start compared to direct entry candidates.

The 8 week FPP programme will be hosted in Kerala and Karnataka by St. Teresa’s College (Autonomous), Ernakulam

How The FPP programme works (For year 10,11&12)

On successful completion of online assessments, high scorers in the 8 week FPP programme are expected to fast track to the foundation course in New Zealand. To gear them up for the foundation programme, preparatory programme students are tested on academic and English proficiency on completion of 8 weeks of instructional training. They are trained in English for IELTS, Tertiary Study Skills (essay writing, report writing, presentation skills etc) and academic electives (Mathematics, Science, Business, Ancient History) before they are tested on the same.
