The Dept. of Mathematics and Statistics organized a webinar on how to professionally draft a resume called “ Write Your Resume” on 4 th December 2021 from 6.30 to 7.30 pm. The objective of the Webinar was to familiarize students with the importance of an ideal resume and how to effectively make one.

The speaker Mr Prince Aloies also shared how resume should be made attractive to the HR by checking the spacing and overall look, limiting the number of pages to 1-2 and also gave some tips to make a good impression and match job responsibilities and requirements. The speaker also talked about the importance of conveying all your professional work and projects.He ended the session by suggesting some corrections to a few resumes sent to him.The speaker asked the students to “focus on standing out”.

The Webinar gave an idea for the students on how to draft a resume, become aware of the do’s and don’ts and stand out.

There were a total of  106 beneficiaries.
