On 31-01-2024  the seminar on Customs, GST, and Central Excise organized by the department and  Pune Chamber of Commerce and Industry aimed to provide participants with comprehensive insights into the intricate workings of customs regulations, international trade, and the challenges faced by enforcement agencies. Among the distinguished speakers was Mr. Ashok Kutty, a retired Assistant Commissioner at Customs, GST, and Central Excise in the Pune zone. Mr. Kutty’s session offered invaluable perspectives on customs operations, export-import regulations, and his experiences in dealing with intricate cases like money laundering and smuggling.
