Students of BSc.Computer Applications (Triple Main) conducted a sale of Used Sarees for a noble Cause as part of ASTA sale.
Students collected used sarees for the Teachers and Alumnae of St Teresa’s College, they set a stall at ASTA sale.

OBJECTIVE OF THE PROGRAMME:
1.Fund raising for one of our student’s medical expenses.
2.Promote entrepreneurship skills among students.
3.Sustainable fashion.
ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION: As part of our ASTA x’mas sale, we have set up a stall on 8th and 9th of December 2021, for used sarees to raise funds for a noble cause.
The event started on 8th of December, 2021 9 am by setting up the saree stall by our final year Bsc Computer Application( triple main) students. Almost 200 good as new sarees were there. Prices ranged from rupees 200 – 800 . Our beloved Principal Dr. Lizzy Mathew inaugurated the session by owning the first saree from our stall. Response from our staff, students and the public were overwhelming. Students were so enthusiastic to describe the sarees to customers, which greatly helped them to enhance their interpersonal communication skills and entrepreneurship skills. First day sale ended around 5 pm and we collected almost rupees 30000 .
Second day sale started on 9th December 2021 at 9 am. Students and staff in-charges were more confident on the second day. Response was so good on the second day as well. Sale ended at 6 pm by selling all sarees and a total collection of rupees 55,210. The sale was a huge success.
