Programs That Lead To State Award For Energy Conservation By I-CONNECT
The Department of Physics launched Initiatives for CONservation of Nature and Energy Coordinated by Teresians (I – CONNECT ) on 18th December 2017. It was inaugurated by honorable MLA of Ernakulam, Sri Hibi Eden.
Another feather is added to the Green-cap of St.Teresa’s College as the college bagged State Award for Energy Conservation under Institution category for the year 2017-18. The Award is a recognization for all Energy conservation extension activities under the banner of I CONNECT, Department of Physics. I CONNECT has been proactive in reaching out to the local community for conserving Energy by conducting several workshops. And awareness programs on LED bulb assembling for women and students. Then conducting Detailed Energy Audit of the college and making the campus incandescent-free.
