Asst. Prof Bindu John, Head of the Department of Psychology, St. Teresa’s College (Autonomous) served as a Resource Person for a session on Rising Strong, Navigating Failure and Building Resilience for NCC cadets on 29th Dec 2023 at Government Polytechnic College, Kalamassery from 11.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Around 560 cadets attended the session which delved into the subject of failure and coping with failure. The session highlighted the importance of cultivating a growth mindset, building an optimistic outlook through scientific methods, setting SMART Goals, and the six pillars of maintaining good mental health during a period of crisis. School students from 9th to 12th standard and college students from different parts of the district benefited from the session.
