A seminar on Human Rights was organized by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics on July 1, 2022. It was a 2 hour session from 8.30 am to 10.30 am. The resource person for the day was Mrs. Parvathy Menon, Alumna of 2016-19 batch. She was a law student from
Government Law College , Ernakulam .The Session was conducted for final year UG students of Mathematics Department. It was a useful session, as it discussed deeply about the history of various human rights and its evolution, which also is a major part of the Environmental
Study Syllabus of the UG Maths 3rd years, and how it is to be protected and valued. Various articles based on human rights were put into discussion so as to bring more awareness to the rights and the session expanded to the exchange of basic concepts and ideas of Human
Rights with the Resource Person. At the end of the session , everyone got enriched with knowledge regarding human rights.
