The M.Sc Physics course follows a semester pattern with 4 semesters each having 4 theory papers and one practical paper. The course also includes a dissertation work and a comprehensive Viva -Voce having a maximum of 100 marks each.

Evaluation of semester papers and the project will be done in two parts namely continuous internal evaluation having 25 marks, and the end-semester external evaluation having 75 marks. Internal evaluation is based on attendance assignments, test papers and seminars.
