Preparation of Guidelines/Rules of Autonomous College

The Research and Development Department undertook the task of framing and preparing the rules and regulations of St. Teresa’s college, to function as an autonomous college.

The first part gives the introduction to autonomy, need for autonomy and functions and rules of an autonomous college. Rules for the various committees and their functions as per the rules of University Grants Commission and Kerala Government are also given in detail.

Functions and regulations of Executive Officials and various committees, departments and Staff, various programmes offered, conduct of examinations, rules to be followed by the students, teaching staff and administrative staff are all given in detail. Brief description of the amenities provided in the college and guidelines for using it are also shown. It also gives the rules to be followed by the students in the college and in the hostel.

The rules and guidelines was prepared after consulting with the management director, principal and staff. Various documents of the college, guidelines of University Grants Commission, Kerala Government Orders are all referred while preparing the rules and guidelines.

The rules and guidelines was released at a meeting held in the auditorium by the director Dr. Sr. Vinitha, director of the college.
