As a part of the Nature Camp  ,the students of the Department of Zoology including both II DC (37)  years and  III DC (3) , a total of 40 students accompanied by two teachers, Mrs Meera Jan Abraham and Ms Nimitha R Chandran attended a 3 day Nature Study Camp at Thattekad Bird Sanctuary, on 3 ^rd, 4^th  and 5^th November 2016 .The students were also fortunate enough to attend a class by Dr. R Sugathan , Ornithologist, Thattekkad Bird Sanctuary. The ornithologist recounts his close association with his mentor Dr. Salim Ali and his adventurous expeditions in search of rare species.
