A national workshop on micro scale analysis in experimental physical and organic chemistry was organised by the department of chemistry on November 2 and 3.

Demonstration on micro scale analysis

S. Murugan, HOD (Retired), Department of Chemistry,  S. T. Hindu College, Nagerkovil and Jeya Rajendran, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, Loyola College, Chennai were the resource persons. Teachers and students from different colleges attended the two day workshop. Prof. S. Murugan gave a lecture on the importance of micro scale analysis and the different techniques and apparatuses   for available for the micro scale analysis. The lecture was followed by a demonstration by the resource persons and hands on training of the participants.
