The National Seminar on “De-scribing History: New Directions in Historiography”, organised by the II PG MA English students was held on 25^th January 2020. The seminar was inaugurated jointly by Dr. Vinod Balakrishnan, Professor, NIT, Trichy and the renowned historian Sri. Manu S. Pillai.  The inaugural was followed by a session ‘In conversation with Sri. Manu S Pillai’ engaged by Dr. Preeti Kumar. Dr. Vinod Balakrishnan delivered the keynote address and was followed by paper presentations by research scholars and students across India.
