Anna Ben and Dhanya Balakrishnan- Alumnae of the Department of Fashion Designing received the Kerala State Award 2021 for the Best Actor (Female) and Best Costume Designer respectively. The results were announced on 16th October 2021 honouring the best of Kerala’s cinema and artists from the year 2020. Anna Ben received the award for her performance in the movie ‘Kappela’ and Dhanya Balakrishnan for her works in the movie ‘Malik’.
