An International talk on the topic “Crossing Number of Graphs” was organised by the department of mathematics and statistics on 12th November 2018. The speaker was Professor Laszlo Szekely, Department of Mathematics, University of South Carolina, USA . Professor Eva Czabarka Department of Mathematics, University of South Carolina USA also graced the occasion. Professor Ambattu Vijayakumar spoke to the students on this occasion. The above speakers along with Smt.TeresaFelitia former HOD and Smt.Susan Mathew Panakkal lighted the lamp. Smt.Nisha Antony proposed the vote of thanks.The Objective of the talk was to encourage scholar researchers to pursue studies and careers in circuit branches and its applications.
