The Department of Economics of St Teresa’s college organised a two day International Conference on Capital Market and Finance on the 6^th and 7^th of January, 2017. The event was held in collaboration with the Indian Econometric Society (TIES), National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) and the Kerala Economic Association (KEA). The Conference aimed to explore the realm of knowledge on capital markets by understanding the issues pertaining to Debt and derivative markets, the trends in the global financial system and the legal framework in emerging markets.
