The inauguration of activities of Chemistry Association for the academic year 2019-20 was held on 21^stJune 2019 at 10.30 am at Dr. (Sr.)Bertille Memorial Seminar Hall, Science Block. Dr.Teena Anne Joy, MBBS, MS, Gynecologist at Aster Medicity was the Chief Guest & she delivered a lecture on “CONCERNS OF ADOLESCENTS”. The report of the activities of the association for the previous year was presented by Miss Anusha John. The new office bearers of the Chemistry association were introduced to the audience and badges were distributed to the new office bearers.

The Star Performers of the Department were honored that day by distributing trophies to them. The batch topper of UG and PG and Dhanu Treasa, alumini who qualified CSIR JRF-NET, were felicitated. This was followed by Fresher’s day celebrations of the department for the academic year 2019-20.Variety of cultural events and competitions were conducted and Ms. Parvathy Mohan V., of 1^st DC and Ms. Sreelakshmi Rameshan of 1^st PG were crowned as Ms. Fresher.
