What a pleasure!
The Department of French hosted its annual Alumnae meet on 21st of January 2023 via Google Meet. Former and present students, teachers and HOD, everyone was so happy to see each other and discussed about all kinds of matter. A special moment when former students who are now French language teachers posted all over the world shared their experience and gave motivating advice to future teachers.

The meeting commenced at 7pm IST and was joined by alumnae members from batches 2002 to 2022.
Ms Anna Leen, nominated member of the Alumnae group was the MC for the programme. The meet of 41 alumnae who joined from all around the globe as it was a Virtual Homecoming, was welcomed by our loving Head of Department Ms Sabeena Bhaskar. The prayer song was sung by Ms Felina Sarah Simon. The report of activities of the previous year were presented by Ms Anasa, President of the Alumnae Association. Accounts of the Alumnae Association were presented by the Treasurer Ms Chinju Babu.

To keep the crowd engaged, a few games were conducted by the present batch students along with sharing of photos and videos reminiscing the college days and a few shared their videos of dancing and singing expressing their talents.

Suggestions and discussions on how to contribute towards our Alma Mater on its centenary celebrations were talked about.
Some of them agreed to give Value Ed classes or motivational talks to the present batches students.
Those who have contacts with ressource persons related to French agreed to collaborate workshops for the Department.
During French fest, the Alumnae could contribute as being Judges for events or setting up stalls.

The meeting was concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Ms Anita Papali.
