On the auspicious occasion of International Women’s Day, the Department of Economics and the Center for Research, in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of St. Teresa’s College, organized a transformative event titled “Dhyana.” Held on the 13th of March 2024, the event aimed to celebrate womanhood while promoting holistic well-being through the ancient yoga practice. With a turnout of 63 enthusiastic students, the session was facilitated by the esteemed Jaiji Samagra, Managing Director of the renowned Samagra Yoga Institute.

The event commenced with a warm welcome extended by Rotaract President, Amala Anil. Mr Samagra, with his profound expertise, then took centre stage to elaborate on the principles of holistic health. He emphasized that true health is not merely the absence of illness but the presence of vitality and balance in all aspects of life.
