A DBT STAR webinar on the theme ‘Spider diversity of Kerala was organised by the Department of Zoology, St Teresa’s College (Autonomous), Ernakulam on 10th November 2020, at 2:30 PM via Google meet platform.  The resource person of the webinar was Miss Aswathy S, PhD scholar, Division of Arachnology, Sacred Heart College, Thevara. She spoke about the morphology, behaviour, sexual dimorphism, predator tactics and the diversity among spiders in Kerala . A feedback form was issued at the end of the session. E-certificates were issued to all the participants. The participants  invoked a clear idea about different spider species in Kerala and the ways to distinguish between the same.
