An internship for 3^rd year BCA(CT & ISM) students was organised by the department of BCA(CT & ISM) coordinated by STAC Cyberark Pvt Ltd, Ernakulam from June 1st to June 30^th 2021 under the guidance of Mrs. Suma Stephen who is a well experienced trainer in the Cyber Security field. The internship covered a variety of topics from Penetration Testing and Cyber Forensics field. The internship began with a deep dive into the Operating System of Kali Linux and its various applications. Students were able to apply their skills to practise enumeration techniques and employ the use of new tools. Applications like Burp sites, cyber forensics tools, Android application penetration testing were explored both in theory and in practise along with a unique industry perspective from the experienced instructors.

After the extensive training period, students were tasked with creating two in-depth practical reports on penetration testing for a vulnerable virtual machine, and a vulnerable android application. E-certificates were provided for those students who successfully completed the one month-long internship.
