The industrial visit (IV) to Spectrum Softtech Solutions(P) Ltd. was scheduled at 9 am at their office on 30th of July, 2019. The visit included students of all three years of BCA CT & ISM accompanied by three teachers. Mr. Joseph Job, Chief Technology officer (CTO) of Spectrum Softtech Solutions escorted the students to the Datacentre room.We were escorted to the Datacentre room where we were given the chance to understand more about what a Datacentre is, its components and how they are managed.The trainer explained the important components in the data center such as the servers, the raised flooring etc. He opened an old server and showed its parts and also removed a tile of the raised floor to show us how the cables are arranged below.
