Bakery

The Department of B.Voc. Food Processing and Technology established in the year 2015 has been imparting skill based training in Bakery for students, house wives and SHG members to promote entrepreneurship and to create self employment opportunities.

The main objective is to provide basic knowledge on bakery and value addition, to provide hands on training in preparation of Bakery & Value added products, to impart knowledge on different quality and safety approaches in product development and to promote bakery and value addition industry for economic empowerment.

The trained students also set up food stalls to exhibit different bakery products prepared by them like bread,biscuits,cookies,cake,Danish pastry,doughnut etc.
