The Department of Commerce SF of St.Teresas College had conducted an Anti- Narcotic Awareness Programme on the 27th of October,2022. The objective of the Anti- Narcotic Awareness Programme was to spread awareness on the harmful effects of using drugs among the youngsters. The programme had commenced with a prayer song and inviting the chief speaker of the program Justice B Sudheendra Kumar, former judge ,High Court of Kerala.
The honourable speaker had stressed on the topics of having curiosity, heroism and peer compulsion. The personal experiences cited. He also discussed that drugs affect youngsters due to teenage impulsiveness. He concluded by widening the perspectives on undertaking challenges and grabbing opportunities rather than the sheer curiosity to fall into the drug addiction loop.
