The Alumni meet of the Zoology Department in the academic year 2019-20 was held on 25th January 2020 in the Zoology lab. It was officially named Milan. The event began at 10.00 am with a prayer song rendered by Ms. Mekha U Prabhu, Alumni (2015-18).
The welcome address was delivered by Dr. Meera Jan Abraham, Head of the Department. Ms. Suma Raveendran , an esteemed Alumni of the Department and ASTA President delivered the presidential address. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Nalini and Smt. Gladys Francis, Former HOD of the Department. They were invited to share some of their treasured memories. Several games and competitions were conducted and the winners were awarded gifts. An entertainment programme was also organized to cheer up the crowd. 1978 batch Alumini came forward with a Malayalam group song. Tea and snacks were provided. Before concluding, Ms. Suma Raveendran made suggestions to improve the alumni participation in the for coming year and also encouraged the students to come up with collaborative ideas in the future towards which the Alumni community could also contribute. The event came to an end by 12.30 pm with the vote of thanks proposed by Miss Shabnam Farisha.
