Beyond the Bell is an initiative of Mr. T J Vinod MLA that aims at enhancing the quality of education provided in Kerala state syllabus schools in Ernakulam constituency. The project is to be implemented in four levels: Pre-school, Lower Primary, Upper Primary and High School. Beyond the Bell was implemented in Anganwadis across Ernakulam in 2020. St. Teresa’s College (Autonomous), Ernakulam is the academic consultant for the project for lower primary students. We make infotainment videos for state syllabus school students in classes 1-4.  In the Department of English Literature, the teachers in charge of this project are Ms. Jeena Ann Joseph and Ms Athira Babu. This project is being headed by Tess Toni of II BA English Literature and is helped by Archana Kumar of I BA English Literature.

As the state schools are closed due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, children find it difficult to get access to quality education. This initiative by Mr. T J Vinod (MLA, Ernakulam Constituency) is to create infotainment videos for LP school students in Ernakulam.
