ZOOFEST – The Intercollegiate Zoology festival jointly organized by Zoological Society of Kerala (ZSK) and Department of Zoology St.  Xavier’s College Vaikom was held on 14^th February 2020. Undergraduate and post graduate students from our department participated in various competitions held and bagged prizes for a number of events. Sreelakshmi Anand PB and Sandra George of first PG secured first and third prize respectively for the event – Just a minute. Sreelakshmi Anand P G was placed first also for power point presentation. Meera Jose and Krishna G Nair of second PG got second prize for the memory game. Shabnam Farisha, Achu Oommen, Kavya V Anilkumar and Krishna G Nair of second PG were placed 3^rd in the event – Rapid identification. The group from our department secured 2^nd position for group song as well. The members of the team were Susbi Suresh (3^rd DC), Devika Gopakumar(3^rd DC),Nazrin (3^rd DC),Sara Anna Mary (1st DC), Sneha Renjith (1st DC)and Aiswarya T R (2nd DC). Archana T Anil of 2^nd DC won the first for news anchoring competition. Aarcha Sagar of 2^nd DC won the second prize for pencil drawing competition.
