On September 11, 2023, the Department of Computer Applications celebrated the inauguration of Yuva Vigyan 2023, an event dedicated to bridging the generation gap and empowering senior citizens with computer knowledge.  Adv. Shri M Anil Kumar, the Mayor of the Kochi Municipal Corporation, inaugurated the ceremony with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony. Mrs. Sheeba Emmanuel gave an introduction to the program.
Distinguished guests, including Dr. Sr. Vineetha CSST Provincial Superior and Manager of St.Teresa’s college ,Principal Dr.Alphonsa Vijaya Joseph and Dr. Praveen G Pai, Chairman of Magics NGO , emphasized the importance of digital literacy in their addresses. Yuva Vigyan 2023 exemplified how education and technology can unite people of all ages, receiving positive feedback and highlighting the significance of such initiatives in the community.
