As part of the observance of World Heart Day a rejuvenating yoga session was organized by the Department of Commerce (SF) for non-teaching staff to promote heart health and overall well-being.

The session was led by Ms. Hussna Kareem, a certified yoga instructor and national-level medalist. The event aimed to encourage physical fitness, relaxation, and stress reduction among non-teaching staff. Through a series of guided breathing exercises, gentle stretches, and relaxation techniques, participants learned how yoga contributes to heart health by improving circulation, reducing stress, and enhancing overall vitality.

The session provided participants with practical techniques to manage stress and improve cardiovascular health. Many reported feeling physically refreshed and mentally relaxed after the session. The event successfully created awareness about the importance of yoga and physical activity in maintaining a healthy heart, aligning with the spirit of World Heart Day.
