Ms. Irene Paul and Ms. Lereena Roy, BMS(IB)- 2021-2024  from the Department of Management Studies were fortunate to be the Masters of Ceremonies for the World Standards Day celebration of the Bureau of Indian Standards. The program was hosted by the Kochi office and directed by Ms. Junitha, Scientist and Joint Director, Kochi Office, BIS, and Ms. Namitha Peter, Assistant Professor from the department. The event was scheduled for the whole day from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and took place at Gokulam Park Convention Centre, Kaloor, Ernakulam. The Honourable Mayor of Cochin Corporation, Adv. M. Anil Kumar was the Chief Guest. There were many other dignitaries including Doctors, Scientists, Professors, and Principals of Colleges who also were the speakers at the event. The Chief Guest honored Licensees who completed 50+ years. The event stuck to the timing which made it easier for the students. The Staff and Coordinators of the BIS office expressed amazing hospitality. The students mentioned that they were lucky to have the chance to interact with a large crowd of such intelligent and eminent personalities that day.
