MEET THE CLASS TEACHER
After the College PG orientation, a formal interactive session was handled to the PGDM-Business Analytics batch 2021-23 by the class teacher Ms.Dhanya Vijayan. The session was two hours long on 13th October 2021 from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. It has begun with an interactive session between the students as well as the class teacher. Then the class teacher gave an overview about the curriculum, Internships how the offline and live call hours would happen, time table of semester one, courses which they are going to deal with in semester one, and the respective teacher’s snapshot.
KNOW YOUR DEPARTMENT
On 20th October 2021 at 12 pm, the Department of Management Studies welcomed the PGDM-Business Analytics batch 2021-23 through the “Know your Department” session handled by the Head of the Department, Ms. Megha Mary Michael. At the end of the session, faculties in the department met with the students and were briefed about them among students. Later on, as a part of the Induction program, the session was covered with a series of three eminent Alumni of the PGDM-Business Analytics programme.
ALUMNI SPEAKS
In the first session, Ms.Maria Celite, Business Analyst, TechMahindra, Chennai alumni of PGDM-BA batch 2018-20 interacted with the students. She shared her knowledge regarding the scopes and multiple areas where a PGDM-BA fresher could excel and utilize. She emphasized the importance of Python programming language in an industry and how advantage is that a fresher analyst with Python knowledge. She also shared a tip to take up active placement opportunities as well.
In the second session, Ms.Rosna Jose, Assistant Manager, Business Development and Analytics, CSB Bank alumni of PGDM-BA batch 2018-20 interacted with the students. She motivated the students to get placed and acquire experiences in the passionated discipline. She also had given an overview of the programme and how it is going to be used in reality as an employee.
In the last session, Ms. Nivya M.R, Executive CRM, Haeal Pharmaceuticals, alumni of PGDM-BA batch 2019-21 interacted with the students. She emphasized the relevance of the certificated courses and Internships. The whole session was concluded at 2:30 pm.
ICE-BREAKING GAMES
On 21st and 22nd October 2021, an internal Ice-breaking session was handled for students of PGDM-BA batch 2021-23 by Ms.Praseetha M.S, a faculty of the Department of Management Studies.
The session was two hours in total. The session was comprised of four games. The first two games were really focused on getting to know one another. Following the introduction of games, to make it more fun and lively. With this session, the batch of students was able to connect with each other in a short time.
