The Department of Botany and Centre for Research, St. Teresa’s College (Autonomous), Ernakulam, in association with the Department of Botany, Maharaja’s College Ernakulam and Centre for Science in Society, Cochin University of Science and Technology organized a Webinar, on 20 October, 2020, as a part of the Seminar series “Paristhithikam 2019-2020”, funded by the Department of Environment and Climate Change, Govt. of Kerala. The topic of the Webinar was “Vayumalineekaranathinethire Poruthan Namukkorumikkam”. Around 70 under graduate students participated in the webinar. The programme started at 2.30 pm and was inaugurated by Prof. M Bhasi, Director, Centre for Science in Society (C-SiS), Cochin University of Science and Technology. The Resource person for the webinar was Dr K Madhusudhanan, Assistant Professor, Department of Botany, St. Albert’s College (Autonomous), Ernakulam who discussed the causes, effects and management of air pollution through striking examples. The webinar came to a close by 4:30 pm after felicitations were offered to the attendees.
