The Department of Psychology, St Teresa’s College (Autonomous), Ernakulam conducted a webinar on Regression Analysis on 28th October 2022 through the Google Meet platform from 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. The webinar was led by Mrs. Rani Varghese, Assistant Professor & Statistician with College for Statistics and Advanced Professional (AP) Statistics. An accredited faculty by the All India Management Association (AIMA) in Quantitative Techniques, Mrs. Rani Varghese has more than 12 years of teaching and research experience.
The webinar was conducted for the B.Sc Psychology students of the department to help them gain an understanding of Regression. Through the session students were given an in-depth knowledge of Regression analysis, its purpose, regression models such as simple and multiple regression and its limitations, linearity in Regression, scatter plot diagrams, and types of correlations. The resource person demonstrated the calculation of the regression model also.
The webinar was attended by 59 students and 8 faculty members of the department.
