The M.com students of our department hosted a Webinar on the topic ,“ Consumer Protection Act 2019 ” on 13th April 2021. The session was scheduled at 6.00 pm on the google meet platform and was attended by 65 participants from the college. Adv. Sheeba George , lecturer, Aquinas Institute of Management was the guest speaker for the event .
She highlighted the significance of the recent changes brought in to the act, that brought forth more emphasis on areas like:
Laws regarding Online trading
Online filing of complaints
Mediation settlement .
