Community College has organized a state level webinar on “Awareness about Cervical Cancer Prevention and Screening” on January 28th 2021 at 6 pm in association with Amrita Hospitals, Edappally and Soroptimist International. Professor and HOD, Consultant Medical Gynecologic Oncologist, Dr.Anupama Rajanbabu (MD,DM), Amrita Hospital and Research Center, Ernakulam was the resource person. She delivered the prevalence of cancer and the clinical manifestation and treatment of Cervical Cancer and the relevance of HPV vaccine in its prevention in very simple words. About 90 delegates from all over Kerala, attended the webinar and got their doubts clarified. The program commenced with a silent prayer, followed by the Presidential address by Principal, Dr.Lizzy Mathew and Welcome Speech by  HOD and Assistant Professor of Community College , Smt.Vincy Vincent,. The session was compared by Smt.Vincy Vincent, Assistant Professor, Community College.  After the session, a question and answer session was there, in which the delegates were given chance to ask their doubts, directly to the resource person. The session came to an end by the Thanks note delivered by Dr. Beena, Vice President of Soroptomist International. The participants were awarded certificate of participation through email.
