Ms. Irene Paul and Ms. Fathima Shaza, BMS(IB)- 2021-2024  from the Department of Management Studies were fortunate to be the Masters of Ceremonies for the Walkathon which was a part World Standards Day celebration of the Bureau of Indian Standards. The walkathon had the tagline “Walk for Quality”,  which focused on spreading awareness about the quality assurance of products that we use and consume as consumers. The event which was scheduled from 6:30 am to 8:30 am started at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kaloor, Ernakulam, and ended at the BIS Kochi Office.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ms. Niranjana Anoop, a Cine Artist who is also an alumnus of our college was the chief guest for the event. The walkathon was flagged off by the chief guest. People of all age groups- from small kids to retired people actively participated in the walkathon. The walkathon ended at the BIS office, where the participants were welcomed cheerfully by the staff and coordinators with refreshments and breakfast. The event stuck onto time which made it easier.

Many students from Management Studies volunteered for the event and shared their experiences which were of great motivation for all the other students.
