The program “Walk with a Scientist” focused on student enrichment and is aimed at inspiring them to pursue research. Dr. Jayan Thomas, eminent scientist from the Central University of Florida, USA gave a talk on “Transforming electric car bodies into energy storage systems”. He discussed about the latest research going on in his lab in the area of multifunctional carbon fibre reinforced plastic composite structural battery. He also shared information on how to pursue higher education in the USA. Dr. Jayan Thomas also graciously inaugurated the activities of the Chemistry Association for the year 2024-25.
