The III B.Sc. students of the department visited CMLRE (Centre for Marine Living Resource and Ecology), Cochin which is an institution under the  Ministry of Earth Sciences,Govt. of India, on 1 st August 2016 (Open Day), as a part of celebrating a decade of the ministry. The students got an opportunity to understand the various research activities conducted in different departments of the institution. They also had a sneak peak into the wet lab, Marine Biotechnology lab and various instruments that aid in the scientific research.
