The Department of Chemistry and Centre for Research, St. Teresa’s College organised a talk by Assistant professor at Bharath Mata College, Dr. Nimya Ann Mathews, on  3rd July, 2024. The talk was on her academic journey and how she tackled a stressful environment during her research period.  She explained about different career opportunities which chemistry opens before young enthusiastic minds. From her life experiences, she urged the students to be highly disciplined and hard-working during their research years.  She motivated students not to give up because they failed once as failure is just the beginning of success. She also enquired about student’s interest in pursuing chemistry in their future and guided them to reach their goals in the most efficient way possible. Her academic journey is a testament to her passion for chemistry, dedication to scholarly pursuits, and commitment to educating young minds.
