The meeting started at 9.45 with a prayer song. Dr. Priya. K. Nair Assistant professor from the Dept of English welcomed the gathering. It was followed by the presidential address by Provincial superior and manager Rev. Dr. Sr. Vinitha. In her speech She appreciated TRAC for bringing intellectual experts for supporting and guiding the research scholars. She also advised the research scholars to make their studies beneficial to the society. She shared the opinion that research scholars should aspire for greatness. Dr Alphonsa Vijaya Joseph, Principal, St. Teresa’ s College felicitated the gathering.  She said that during this centenary year, our institution is focusing more in creating a research culture among the students and the present research scholars can support this goal by creating more research outputs like publications in journals and books Dr. Sajimol Augustine, Senior Administrator felicitated biannual research meet and opined that this kind of research meetings surely help the scholars to reach the heights of wisdom. Also, it would give new insights to face the challenges of daily life situations. Following the felicitation, chief guest Dr Suresh Das honoured Ph. D awardees of 2022-23 academic year by handing over the trophies. Dr. Suresh Das started his Keynote session by 10.15. Unlike the previously fixed topic of ” Research in the changing Scenario of Higher education” Dr Suresh slightly deviated to a new topic in which he discussed about the ultimate goal of education and meaning of success in life. He asserted that whatever you do, if you do it with passion, you can achieve a purposeful life.  His class was very interesting and thought provoking. Dr Taniya Vivera Assistant Professor, Department of English extended vote of thanks. With that the morning session of the biannual research meet came to an end. Research Scholars proceeded to their respective departments for presentation of progress report of their research and get expert advice from their subject experts.
