Need of the activity:  

Cleanliness should be prior to everything. As we are locked in houses due to the pandemic it’s time to clean our mind, soul and surrounding. Swatch Bharath Abhiyan was evolved from a desire of Mahatma Gandhi. Cleanliness is not a thing to practice a single day. It should be a part of our live like the oxygen we breathe. The younger generation should be trained for this.

#Tidy@home was conducted to convey this message among the young minds.

Brief Description: 

#tidy@home was released on 2 October 2020 as a part of Gandhi Jayanti. Posters were released on the same asking the active participation of the students. They were asked to send photos or video each of them cleaning their homes. They were also asked to spread the hashtag among others.

Outcome: 

The importance of cleanliness was circulated. A memorable day was gifted to each one of them. They were able spend the birthday of a great human being in a useful manner. The students took a great effort and did their job without the guidance of elders. This will encourage them to extend their little hands to help elders in household chores as well.
