As part of the department’s alumni engagement initiative, The Psych Circle:  Alumni Conversations, a session titled “Beyond the Degree” was conducted on 23rd June 2025 for final-year postgraduate students. The session was led by Ms. Emeline Paul, alumna of the Department of Psychology and currently serving as a School Counsellor at Don Bosco School. Ms. Paul shared her professional journey, offering valuable insights into the practical realities and challenges faced by psychologists in school settings and beyond. She emphasized the importance of pursuing additional certification courses alongside the master’s programme to stay competitive and well-prepared for specialized roles. The session also explored emerging career opportunities in counselling, mental health services, education, and private practice. She encouraged students to stay updated, build networks, and adopt a lifelong learning mindset to thrive in the field.
