On 5th September, 2023, the Department of English and Centre for Research organised National Teachers’ Day celebrations. The programme was held in the III BA classroom at 1.00 PM. All the teachers and students of the department were present. Riya from III BA was the host for the day.
Gowri from III BA delivered a beautiful speech explaining the significance of the day and expressing gratitude for all the teachers. Angel from I BA recited an inspiring poem thereafter. Dr. Preeti Kumar, Head of the Department, addressed the gathering. This was followed by the cake cutting ceremony. Celebratory cards and gifts prepared by the students were presented to all the teachers.
