The department of Zoology conducted, Hands on Training programme on ‘Techniques in Microbiology and Biotechnology ‘as a part of the Teacher Enrichment Programme on 11th November, 2015. The training was conducted by Merit Biolabs in the Department as a one day programme. Apart from the teachers of the department of Zoology, teachers and Research Scholars from Botany and Home Science participated. The training held as two sessions the first being a theory session where the importance and working of various instruments were explained followed by second session in which hands on training was provided.
