On 31st January 2024 , Department of History organized a talk on the topic “Legal Frameworks for Combating Gnder-Based Violence: Progress and Challenges” for the 2nd and 3rd year UG students of Department of History and Final year students of the Department of French. 

Adv.Christy Tomy , currently practicing at High Court of Kerala,was the resource person for this session . The class commenced at 1:pm in the afternoon .Dr.Vinitha .T.Tharakan , Associate professor of Department of History , delivered the welcome speech.
