1. Following students from the department of chemistry won prizes in various events held during the M G University Youth Festival  held in Ernakulam on March 9-13, 2018.

Nayana John (III DC Chemistry) and Swarna S. Chonnappally (I DC Chemistry) – I^st Prize, Group Dance

Binha Rose (I DC Chemistry) – I^st Prize, Eastern Group Song

2. Ann Treesa Thomas of II DC obtained a certificate of recognition for having represented Greece in the UNESCO Committee  in the event held at Nasreen Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Hyderabad.

3. Shaniya V. Ansary of III DC and Sahala Nayeem A. A. of II DC received certificates of  honourable mention among all the participants in the All India Essay Writing Event 2017, organized by the Shri Rama Chandra Mission and United Nations Information Centre for India and Bhutan (UNIC).
